Becoming an Ask for Angela Ally Helps Create Safer Communities

Ask for Angela is a discreet safety initiative that helps people experiencing domestic violence, control or coercion signal for help—quickly, quietly, and safely.

Using the simple question “Is Angela here?” people in crisis can alert trained staff at participating locations without raising an alarm or putting themselves at further risk.

Violence can happen anywhere. So can safety.

When your staff are trained as Ask for Angela Allies, your location becomes a quiet lifeline—a place where someone in danger can be connected to help.

Together, we can build a stronger safety net across Toronto—one location, one person, one moment at a time.

Becoming an Ask for Angela Ally means taking a stand for safety, compassion, and community care.
